Vintage bakelite and wooden voltmeter. Manufactured for the Weston Electric Instrument company in Newark, New Jersey this instrument measures direct current in an electrical apparatus. This model is no 1 and dates from 1901. This is an early version which has survived intact and in great condition with an serial number of 36770.
