A dainty, vintage charm, modeled as a first aid kit, by the well-known makers Sloan & Co., in 14k yellow gold. This beautifully-made first aid box opens to reveal a group of tiny medical supplies— a roll of "gauze," a bottle of "pills," etc., all enameled in red, blue, and white. This miniature is special and a rarity— Sloan & Co. made the finest, most intricate, whimsical charms of their day! It would be a sweet, sentimental gift for a nurse or an EMT, or for some especially klutzy beloved other! We like these little charms worn alone, or in small groups, on a slender neck chain.

Condition is exceptional with no enamel loss. The gold surfaces of the box are smooth and satiny. Our macro photos are taken in natural light (abundant with shadows), and they greatly exaggerate tiny surface textures, like these.
